To connect to most FTP clients, you would basically log in using these configuration settings.
FTP Host/Address: (ftp.yourdomain.com)
FTP User: (cPanel user name)
FTP Password: (cPanel password)
Port: 21
If your domain name is not pointing to the server, then you can always use the server IP address as the FTP Host/Address instead.
*Note: If connecting to FTP using an FTP account that was created in cPanel, you will need to be sure to use the entire username. Example: [email protected]
